Horrible safety very easy to remove.

The safety shown is the worst safety I have ever seen. It is required by import law. However, it is not against the law for the consumer to remove it....and you will want to do that. It does not stay in position and actually impedes insertion and removal of the magazine. Fortunately it is held in position via a rivet under the left grip panel. It is ridiculously easy to remove. Remove the left panel. Pop the flimsy safety off the rivet, and then punch the rivet through. Reinstall the panel and your problems go away. The hole will not show, the mags will work much better, and there will not be a noticeable gap between the frame and the panel. That's it. Getting rid of this style safety is easier than getting rid of any of the plethora of other styles on the market.
