Reliable

Idk what that other guy is talking about. I never had a problem with my sd9. Perfect every time I go to the range! I added the apex spring kit and a new trigger as I hated the two piece brittle feeling factory trigger. Do those two mods and you will be so much more happier with this gun. Only negative I can add is unless they have redesigned sd9ve I feel the description is inaccurate..or mistaken. There is no "manual safety " on my gun. Other than the trigger safety there is no lever or toggle you can switch from fire to safety. Not on my sd9ve anyway nor do I see one in the pictures here.

I love this hand gun. It comes with Two clips with 16 rounds. The handle has a non slip comfortable grip. The weight is just right not to light or two heavy with very little kick back.

S&W SD9VE 9mm

I have owned my SD9VE about 7 years and found it to be a solid performer in reliability and accuracy after you get used to handling it and a little practice. The slide can be a little tricky to remove but it is relatively easy to clean and lube. It accommodates most factory loads and rarely jams or misfires even after about 1000 rounds...

Don’t buy this

This gun is anything but reliable.
don't use anything other than brass cases rounds in this. Steel casings will jam, berry often. I used to travel with tools to the range so that I could extract the spent casing after it had jammed.
the striker is weak, every few rounds you hear it clink and strike the round.. just no bang, reset and same thing, throw the round in a more reliable gun... bang.
the trigger draw is a bit heavy, this is easily fixed with the apex trigger though.
overall the feel of this and how it handles when it actually works are good, price is good, but this isn't a gun I'd use to defend myself ever, it's far too unreliable.
