Gift for pops

My dad for the longest only had a g2c. Not a bad pistol by any means, but this is one heck of a upgrade coming from the g2c. I liked this pistol so much I'm thinking of getting one for myself.

The Smith and Wesson m&p 9mm is my first owned firearm I love the feel and weight of the pistol the light trigger pull,dry fire only is what I remembered from shooting one similar 3 years ago the only thing that I have a problem with is the very tight slide stop/catch I can't budge the slide stop.
