In designing the M&P, Smith & Wesson considered the needs of military and law enforcement from every conceivable angle, so the M&P is the standard in reliability. The M&P40 is built on a high-strength polymer frame reinforced with a rigid stainless steel chassis with ambidextrous controls, and proven safety features. It has a white dot front sight with a stainless steel low profile carry rear sight, three interchangeable palmswell grip sizes, a black frame and slide finish, no thumb safety, and includes 10-round standard and finger groove magazines. This compact model features a Crimson Trace Green Laserguard, which when a proper grip is taken, the laser will turn on.
