This Ruger 10/22 Takedown Lite features a legendary action, a tried and true Ruger design. The easy to take apart firearm allows it to be stored or taken anywhere without the need for a large space. The backpack carrying case has extra pockets for magazines, ammunition or anything needed. Takedown is simple. Lock the bolt to the rear and verify the rifle is unloaded and clear, push a recessed lever, twist the subassemblies apart, and pull. The cold hammer-forged barrel tensioned in aluminum alloy barrel sleeve features a 1/2"-28 threaded muzzle and is fitted with a thread cap which can be removed to allow for the use of muzzle accessories. It includes a combination scope base adapter for both the Weaver-style and .22 tip-off scope mounts. The Ruger 10/22 Takedown comes with one 10 round rotary box magazine that, when inserted, is flush to the stock while still being easy to remove and uses a cross-bolt manual safety. The Ruger Modular Stock System ships with two options for immediate customization.
