MINNESOTA PERMIT TO CARRY COURSE: Five (5) Hours. This course meets the training requirements to obtain a Minnesota Permit to Carry and provides the necessary information for anyone looking to become a responsible firearm owner and carrier, while emphasizing the great responsibility that comes with carrying a firearm. The class includes approximately four hours of close interactive coursework and an hour of range time for shooting and training. Students learn safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; grip; shooting from the two-handed standing position; and continued opportunities for skill development. Minnesota Carry laws and information about how to apply for the carry permit are included.

Materials Needed:

• 50 rounds of ammunition recommended, though up to 100 rounds may be needed (actual amount will vary based on caliber and location and the student).
• Unloaded and CASED firearm – bring your own or use one of our rentals. PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR FIREARM OR AMMUNITION INTO THE CLASSROOM.  NO FIREARMS IN THE CLASSROOMS.
• Eye and ear protection – bring your own or purchase in-store.
• Classes are limited to the first 20 students. A minimum of 5 students is required for a class to be held.
• Class participants who are under the age of 21 must have a parent or legal guardian in attendance for the range portion of class. Parent/legal guardian must sign our Liability Waiver on behalf of the underage participant and must remain in the lane with them during the shooting portion of the class.

Reschedule/Cancelation Policy: Customer will be permitted ONE class reschedule if the reschedule is made at least 2 days before the ORIGINAL class date on the order. Additional rescheduling will not be permitted and will result in the forfeiture of the cost of the class. Cancelation must be made at least 2 days prior to the ORIGINAL class date on the order. Students who fail to reschedule or cancel within 2 days of the ORIGINAL class date on the order will not be eligible for a refund. In the event Range USA cancels a lesson, Range USA will work with you to find an agreed upon future class date and the policy above will apply to any future cancelation or rescheduling.
